OUR HISTORY
Jesus Speaks Christian Center
has been making a difference in lives in Massillon/Canton Ohio communities since 1988 under the direction of Overseer Mark M. Smith – the uncle of Pastor Gregory Reaves.
Pastor Smith lead the ministry until God saw fit to call Pastor Gregory and Lady Tammy Reaves to the pastorate in August 2018.
Overseer Mark M. Smith
founded Jesus Speaks Christian Center in 1988 which was located in Massillon, Ohio. For the first three years, Jesus Speaks was a member of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World (PAW) Organization. In 1991, Overseer Smith decided to relocate the church to the city of Canton and established independence from the P.A.W. Jesus Speaks was relocated to 618 Fulton Road, NW, Canton, Ohio.
The church grew and established a presence in the Northwest area of Canton. The church held residence at the Fulton address from 1991 to 2005. The church later transitioned to its current location, 1103 McKinley Avenue, NW, Canton, OH 44703.
It is with great honor that Pastor Gregory and Lady Tammy continue the legacy that the Lord birthed in Overseer Mark M. Smith.
Jesus Speaks Christian Center believes in the Apostolic Doctrine and the Pentecostal experience, but we are non-denominational church desiring to reach the broad spectrum of believers.
